Vintage Eggshell Porcelain Teacups

Incredibly thin porcelain is the defining feature of eggshell porcelain, visible in these antique cups. Held up to a light, you can easily see silhouettes of any object between. During the start of WW2, it is said that eggshell-style porcelain’s long-lasting tradition was abruptly discontinued. Since then, there have been attempts to revive the art, but cups such as these are a testament to the incredible craftsmanship of the past! These are even more beautiful in person and are a perfect way to enjoy a cup of tea or espresso.
